General
What is GowaFun?
A token launchpad on GIWA. Anyone can launch a token on a bonding curve, and full curves graduate into GowaFun pools with locked liquidity.
What does it cost?
Launching costs gas only. Every trade pays a 1% fee: 80% buys back and burns GOWA, 20% funds operations.
Do I need GOWA?
No. You trade with ETH on GIWA.
Which network is live?
GIWA Sepolia, GIWA’s testnet, with test ETH only. GowaFun moves to GIWA mainnet when it opens.
Will my testnet tokens carry over to mainnet?
No. Testnet tokens and test ETH have no value and stay on testnet.
Are NFTs supported?
Yes. Create an ERC-721 or ERC-404 collection in NFTs. See NFT collections.
Trading
Why did my transaction fail?
Usually the price moved past your minimum amount, or you ran out of ETH for gas. Your funds stay with you when a trade fails.
Can a creator pull the liquidity?
No. Before graduation the ETH sits in the launchpad contract. At graduation the pool’s LP tokens are burned, so the liquidity is locked forever.
Can a creator mint more tokens?
No. Every token has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000.
Does GowaFun check the tokens?
No. Anyone can launch. We hide tokens that break the rules from our lists, but a listing is never a recommendation.
Packs and indices
Can GowaFun choose what my pack contains?
No. The picks come from a block hash that doesn’t exist when you pay. The operator sets each tier’s token list, not the individual picks.
My pack hasn’t opened. What now?
Packs open automatically after two blocks. If one is still closed after 256 blocks, you can claim a refund.
Does an index rebalance?
No. You buy the tokens once and hold them yourself.
Coming later
Are there games?
Yes. Roulette and 10 luck games, only for adults 18+ where they are permitted and licensed. Games are blocked in restricted jurisdictions. Play responsibly and only with what you can afford to lose.
Is there a mobile app?
iOS and Android apps are coming soon. Until then, the website works in any mobile wallet browser.
When is mainnet?
When GIWA mainnet opens and our contracts have been audited.
